MOVIE MONDAYS: FAST AND FURIOUS 6

Who doesn't love this series? I do not care if a Fast 20 comes out as I will probably still queue up on the release date at the cinema to eagerly buy my tickets. How lush is Vin Diesel's voice and Paul Walker's piercingly blue eyes??? Never fails to make me smile I tell ya!

I watched this several weeks ago but I still think that this movie deserves a published post on my blog. I went with my sister, Mona, who had seen it previously, and we had a blast as we munched on the Mc D meals that found their way into our handbags.

It was an intense movie; I loved it! Although, I was a bit lost at the beginning as I had forgotten everything that happened in the last 3 installments. I remembered most of the 1st and 2nd movie. I doubt I'd ever remember Tokyo Drift  as that movie seemed so pointless to me...mostly because important characters were nowhere to be found. It was so random!

Or so I thought.

But, in the end, it didn't really matter if I couldn't remember the past events; I was completely engrossed on the series of events that were unfolding before my very eyes.

For those of you who haven't got any idea of what this series is about (I don't believe you exist lol), its about a group of people whose paths crossed multiple times due to their love of fast cars and money. That's basically it...for all 6 movies. But you'll love it anyway!

I was not aware that this movie was going to be shot here in the UK. I am just glad I wasn't in London or Glasgow when all of this was going down. I'm pretty sure I'd have cried if I was in town and unaware of the improved chances of me meeting Vin and Paul. I'm sad like that :D

The cars, the action, the lines, the special effects, the girls and the men were top notch in this film. I could easily have watched it again, at the next showing that day, and would've still ooo'd and aaah'd at the exact same places. It was directed by Justin Lin again which was great and all the beloved actors reprised their roles. I don't think I need to mention their names...do I? I mean in the past 12 years you must have seen 1 of them...right?

Cannot believe its been 12 years! :O

I bought the current complete box set so that I could watch all of them again. I couldn't wait for Fast 6 to come out on DVD as I wanted to figure out how all of the movies tied together immediately. Let's just say that the special effects have come a loooooooooong way. Oh boy! It was slightly painful to watch. Although, nothing beats Mortal Kombat. I seem to always watch that every year as it reminds me how far the film industry has come.

I used to think that film was the ishhh!! when I was a kid lol.

If you have not seen this movie, please give it a go! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Till next time!

Luv, Mo
