Behind-the-Scenes

Craziness + Filofax + Post-it notes = Organisation

My memory is a bit iffy at the moment...

I used to remember the days when I could do large sums in my head; the birthday of everyone I met; the phone numbers of all my family members and friends; blocks of text when cramming for exams...the list is endless. Now, for exams I can only remember it if I truly understood the concept *sigh*; I depend on facebook and my phone to remind me when someone's birthday is coming up or if I need to give 'em a ring. And hasn't anyone heard of a calculator? I carry a scientific calculator with me at all times...except if I'm attending a fancy occasion.

The one thing that has helped me remember stuff that I need to get done in the day is List Making. Lists are a brilliant way of keeping track of what you need to do. And the satisfaction you get when you cross out that task you have just completed is immense :D

But I couldn't keep on carrying around scraps of paper or bulky notepads that are meant for uni work to make my lists. So, I decided to use diaries and post-it notes. Now these worked fine for a while but it just didn't have enough...versatility.

Not like a filofax!

Which is why I purchased this baby:

This is a Domino personal sized filofax in the colour Ultra Viloet and I purchased it from....filofax. I really should thank Sofia from Sofia's Journal  as it was seeing her's that convinced me I had to get one. Compared to the other filofaxes they have, this was nicely priced lol. It was on offer as well! They have various colours but this was the one that really called to me. The fact that it was on offer was a sign that I had to have it :D

It has a leather-look and it's just the right size for me and my handbags. As I have only just got it, it is not heavy lol. The only downside to this is that i can't really use it until July.

*sigh*

It's my fault really. I got too excited and didn't register the fact that the diary starts from July 2013 - December 2014. But that is not going to stop me! I will be filling in the other sections- my address book, notes, to-do lists etc.

How do you organise your life? Are you a diary/post-it notes/noticeboards/filofax kinda person? Or do travel light and are able to remember all that you need to?

Till next time!

Luv, Mo xx
