Wash Day :)
Today, I feel was a very successful wash day...I think lol
I started off with a hot oil treatment which comprised of Jamaican Black Castor Oil mixed with a couple drops of Rosemary and Tea Tree oil. It was aMazing! My scalp was all hot and tingly hehe it made me giggle but also felt sooo relaxing. When I was done, I put on a shower cap and waited for about 20 mins before rinsing it out.
I am trying to finish all the products I have sitting on my shelf so, I decided to shampoo my hair with my TRESemme Moisture Rich Shampoo. And boy was it moisturizing! My hair felt so soft and smooth. Then I used some Roux Porosity Control for 3 mins and rinsed that out. After that, I used some ORS Replenishing Conditioner and rinsed that out after 10mins. Mmm mm mmm! My hair felt gooooooood after that.
I towel dried my hair and saturated my hair with my ApHogee Provitamin Leave-In Conditioner. I air-dried my hair for a while, moisturised my hair with Luster's S-Curl moisturiser and sealed with grapeseed oil. I detangled my hair and only lost a few strands. Not the hair ball I used to have. Iam not too sure how I feel about seeing shedded hair. I think I am so used to hair breakage that seeing my hair strands with the bulb at the roots freaks me out slightly lol. The breakage has reduced but it could be because it was a wash day.
Because I was rushing off to uni for a meeting and only had 20mins to spare, I had to blowdry my hair. I used the cool setting and left my hair 90% dry. I put my hair up in a bun and went off about my business :) My bun is no longer the pathetic little mushroom it used to be. The diameter of my ponytail is waaaay bigger than what it used to be so that's another plus.
I am gonna try my hand at making a homemade moisturizing spritz. I have most of the ingredients, I just need the vegetable glycerin that everyone is yapping on about. I can't wait to see how that goes :)
Till next time!
Luv, Mo xx
