Behind-the-Scenes

Only the Best For You

[source of pic]
Yesterday was day where everything that I was trying to be successful at went wrong lol. Don't you just hate those days?

I know I do.

I was quite happy to just soak in the wave of sadness/failure/depression that was sure to follow and then turn to God to ask what I was meant to learn from all of it. But I didn't get to stay in that state of depression for long :( lol

A very good friend of mine showed me a youtube video last night by Bronze Goddess. Now, this woman gave me another way of interpreting the outcome of situations. Granted, for some situations you might be a bit skeptical but, for the scenario she was basing her views on, her opinion on how we should look at things seemed plausible. I can't say I have thought about things in that way consistently but I am willing to try.

For those of you who may not want to watch the video, she basically said that instead of blaming yourself for not being good enough or whatever for where you want to be, try and see it as that thing that you so desperately wanted might not necessarily be the best for you and God is saving the best for you.

In this instance, she was talking about how her husband wanted a job at a company many moons ago but he didn't get it. Most of his friends were being hired by this company and he couldn't understand why he wasn't offered a job. But now, he has a job that is a far cry from the job he wanted previously so she has decided to see it as God was saving the best for her husband.

I hope that makes sense lol.

I say watch the video folks to get a better idea of their whole story; to see/hear where they have been and where they are now. I just love how real it is a she doesn't edit things out. She is just herself and let's the words and emotions flow out of her.

Needless to say, after watching the video I didn't feel so depressed and could no longer justify why I had popped down to Subway to "treat" myself.

*sigh*

Haha!

I hope her story may help some of you see a silver lining in the midst of your problems. I hope you all have a great day! It's almost Friday folks. Hang in there!

 :D

Till next time!

Luv, Mo xx

p.s I know the picture may seem a little odd but I just love how peaceful it looks. The best way to be ;)
