AMSTERDAM BOUND

Packing is not the easiest thing in the world. It becomes even harder when you decide to travel "lightly" i.e. with only one hand luggage...no big, roomy suitcase to save the day when you decide to bring the whole country back with you haha. But I'm not letting that get to me as I am just excited at the fact that I am  actually doing what I said I wanted to do this year - travel!

If you caught this week's Movie Mondays post you will know already that I am on my way to Amsterdam soon. I'm going with a friend from uni to visit a mutual friend of ours that lives out there and I cannot wait to catch up with the girls. Hopefully I will remember to take a few pictures so that you to can share the experience and/or give you a few ideas of where to visit if you find yourself slap bang in the middle of Amsterdam. A full itinerary of our trip has not been decided on but I can assure you it will involve food, sight seeing - I see a flower festival in my future lol - and barrels of laughter. April has been a bit of a rocky month but I'm glad I'm starting the month of May with a bang

In one of my Eat Pray Love posts - gosh that was ages ago - I hinted at the fact that I've wanted to travel for a while now and have never really gotten round to doing so. Now, I can proudly say that I am; one holiday at a time.
