MERGER

Some of you will know that I have another blog called By My Pen where I share short stories I have written, my thoughts on books I have been reading and my musings on writing in general. I have been mulling this over for a while now and I think merging the two blogs is for the best. I know there are people who are more organised than me and are fully capable of running two or more blogs but for me, right now, this seems to be a step in the right direction.

I started By My Pen because I felt the topics I discussed in this blog where slightly disjointed. They still are but feel somewhat less so than before. And with the number of entertainment related posts I share on here, blogging about books and creative writing does not seem too wild an act to me now. I just want all my interests under one roof. So, on Wednesdays I shall be running an "In Case You Missed It" series (#ICYMI) where I upload all my posts from BMP on this ol' blog of mine for you all to have a look see at what went down over there. I will also be publishing some fresh material as well from time to time. Funny how this is happening in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) as it was pure coincidence. I guess there must be something about November that gets writers itching to tell stories.

Creative writing is something I will always love doing and although I have not read that many books recently, burying my head in a good book is a favourite pastime of mine. The duty of this virtual locket of mine is to hold all the nothings and somethings that enchant me and that is what it is going to continue to do.
