Ahem... that was my attempt at crying out like a werewolf in case you were wondering :)
So......Teen Wolf...
How awesome is this show??? I mean, I wasn't feelin' it about 2 years ago when I first saw the pilot and a couple episodes after it. I think it was because I was following one too many supernatural-themed tv shows and movies at the time and couldn't handled another one. And I am sort of glad because now I don't have to wait as long as other Teen Wolf fans for the next season to come out as I have the other episodes to keep me occupied :D
SEASON 1
It took a while to grow on me, I won't lie. The writers seemed to be half asleep when writing this season and I don't mean that as a bad thing. What I mean is, to me, it felt really groggy...unsure of what was happening and where it was going...testing the waters if you like. I think it wasn't until may be the 6/7th episode that I would say I was really hooked.
SEASON 2
Just wow! The writers seemed to be high on caffeine/Redbull/sugar/something when the wrote this season. IT IS BRILLIANT!!!! I have loved every single episode. And it has nothing to do with the topless men in this show...yep, it has nothing to do with that ;) It is so interesting, scary at times, funny, sad and packed full of action. Can't chose which one is my favourite at all. All I know is I can't wait to see the next episode!
CHARACTERS
Each character brings their own spice to the whole mix and below you will find my views on the main characters of the show:
I would have to say, without a doubt, that Stiles Stilinski is my favourite character. His sarcastic comments and comedic facial expressions crack me up in every episode. He is played by the awesome Dylan O'Brien (The First Time) whom I just think is a fab actor.
Then you have Scott McCall, the teen wolf. He is a sensitive, love-stricken teenager who has a big heart and wants to do right by everyone. He is played by Tyler Posey (Lincoln Heights; Maid in Manhattan) who is just awesome in this.
Next up is Derek Hale. He is such a hot misunderstood character in my opinion lol. He is played by Tyler Hoechlin (Hall Pass) who did a brill job in this. I really want to know more about him though. I feel like we need to know more about him and his background.
Then, it is the lovely, yet slightly annoying, Allison Argent. I swear this girl is too sensitive at times but I love her all the same. She is strong, skilled in a sport that...well, I will never participate in lol. Her role in this show is quite a delicate one I do have to say. She is played by Crystal Reed (Skyline) who is so pretty and is a brill actress.
Lydia Martin definitely stepped up her game in Season 2!! Holland Roden plays this character so well. She is deemed the evil popular girl but, again, I think she is another misunderstood character who is kind of a funny one. She is undeniably pretty and a brill actress. I love her hair!
And then last but in no way the least, there is Jackson Whittemore. Jackson, Jackson, Jackson. *shaking my head*. He is definitely a handful. He is a guy who is just...lost in my opinion. Constantly searching for something to fill the emptiness that is eating away at him. He is played by Colton Haynes who is just awesome!
If you are looking for a funny, action packed tv show that has an underlying romantic side to it, then Teen Wolf is for you.
