MOVIE MONDAYS: FRACTURE
A movie that has both Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins is bound to be great.
This poster basically sums up the whole movie perfectly. I was completely enamored by their performance in this movie as well as the story line. It was strangely gripping. Anthony Hopkins character was way too smart for my liking. I am just glad Ryan's character was a tad bit alright in this movie. I swear, some of the roles he takes on are a bit too much for me to handle at times lol. I feel like I need to give myself a pep talk before I watch some of his films.
I do realise that yet again I am quite late with this one as it did come out in 2007. But at least I have seen it now...Right?
For you mega movie buffs out there, it was directed by a chap named Gregory Hoblit (Hart's War; Untraceable; Frequency) and written by a dude called Daniel Pyne (The Manchurian Candidate; Pacific Heights).
This crime and slightly psychological thriller is about a man who shot his wife and a lawyer who is tries his best to convict him. It is one the best films I have watched either of Anthony Hopkins or Ryan Gosling act in. Me loves it :D
If you are looking for a film to watch one late and slightly boring evening, you should give this a go.
