100TH POST: ANIME
I just realised that this is my 100th published post and, sadly, I am quite proud of myself lol. My blog has evolved into something quite different from it's original purpose but I am loving it! The topic that I felt would be worthy enough to be discussed in my 100th post is: Anime!!
I am currently watching on of the best shows I have seen this year and it is called Special A. I love it because it is a romantic comedy and the storyline is sort of different to all the other shows I've seen. S.A is about a bunch of high school students and the value students place on being one of the top students. I normally watch anime with english subtitles as I feel it is 10 x funnier than dubbed versions. This unfortunately makes it harder for me to revise because I have to focus all my attention on the show. I really want the manga version now but I am pretty sure that it will be close to impossible for me to find and buy all of the issues lol.
From time to time I have this urge to watch all things anime because it reminds me of my childhood and it is a means of getting my creative juices flowing. I literally discovered this show today and I have been hooked. At the moment my favourite character is Hikari because she is so driven, passionate, kind-hearted and doesn't believe in limits. She strives to be the best that she can be at every given moment and doesn't let her past failures deter her from achieving her goals.
As I am about to write my last ever chem-eng related exam, my eyes are opening up to all the possibilities out there. Although, when one looks at the current economy and has received a pile of rejection letters from companies it is sort of hard at times to see the brighter side to life lol. And I know this may seem crazy, but watching this show has definitely given me a little extra spring to my step. I am ready and eager to figure out the things that I want to achieve in life and fight for them. I am prepared to not let fear or the idea of "failure" prevent me from at least trying.
See folks, if you watch a bit anime you could gain all the self-confidence you ever wanted :D
Till next time!
Luv, Mo
xx
P.S However, I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever be jumping out of a plane or off a bridge. I put my foot down to those kind of crazy ideas lol.
