THE KID WHO WENT DOWN FIGHTING
I was rummaging through the blog posts of the bloggers that I follow today and I cam across one by Rosie from Cider with Rosie that really touch my heart. It was about a boy named Zach Sobeich who wanted to be known as: The kid who went down fighting!
He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, at the age of 14. He decided to make the best out the years he had left by doing what he loves the most-putting smiles on the faces of others. If you have the time I encourage you to watch the video. If you are anything like me, you may need a box of tissues handy. He also wrote a really nice farewell song called Clouds which you can check out as well.
We never know when our time is up but what we can do is make the most of the time we have now. Search for the things that make you happy and make an effort to do those things. If it is baking, singing, writing, designing, teaching, walking, reading, thermodynamics etc that makes you happy, take a moment to do it.
Till next time!
Luv, Mo xx
p.s Zach Sobeich sadly passed away on the 20th of May, 2013.
