Behind-the-Scenes

A Trip to Nando's

Well, I am pretty sure that most people who have had the opportunity to go to Nando's have in fact decided to go to Nando's and left with their own various encounters with Nando's food.

I can't say that I regularly go to Nando's even tho it is a 2 minute walk from my flat- there are a lot of factors that affect my choice of where to live :D - but I can say that I went the Friday just gone, with a friend of mine, to celebrate my last exam. The exam itself wasn't the greatest but it was the fact that I was done with exams that granted me the strength not to cry as I usually do. Yes folks, I am a crier.

Anyways, back to the food.

I always forget how to order food at Nando's- Table X, Degree of hotness, Meal and  Drinks- so was kindly prompted by the lovely dude serving me that evening to provide him the information that he required from in the right order. I ordered my "usual"- Table X, 1/4 chicken with chips and garlic bread with a bottomless glass of Fanta. Whoever thought up the idea of the bottomless glass is a genius in my books. I have been told countless times to try out their mashed potatoes but I am a creature of habit it seems as I never remember to do so lol.

Anyway, when the food arrived I proceeded to basically inhale it. In my defense, I hadn't eaten since 7 am as I was doing last minute prep for my exam and this was around 5.30 pm so you can stop judging/ laughing at me. I was soo full! I never finish my food when I go to Nando's. I always to much. But that Friday, I felt like I had to because I deserved it lol.

Have you ever done that?
Have you ever eaten so much that the the button and zipper of your trousers come undone?
No?
Yeah, me neither.... :D

All I am going to say is that this next month is definitely going to be detox month for me.

Till next time!
